Hey people, if you would like the photos from last friday (my camera and jovena's camera), pass me a thumbdrive with at least 700mb free space (not a 32mb thumbdrive *ahem*ahem* to a certain someone) in school or if you do not have one just drop me a message and I'll burn the photos onto a cd for you.
Just a photo from today! J.Heng is actually studying. o.O Dennis and Amos couldn't resist not taking a photo. :P

hey girls, we've come so far together as a team.
All the hours of training at VJ,VS and valhall, suicides, the long jogs to ecp, our sprite bottles, our yellow hairbands, our floorball+cute soft toy keychains, n our 'toiletries' team bag. We were all so hopeful in our season this year. It's really painful to end it like this. I'm sorry i cried in front of u girls when i'm not supposed to. I just couldnt control. Because i felt that our team deserves so much more.
But, just want to say that I'm really proud of u girls. It's heart-warming to see everyone fighting hard and not giving up throughout the whole match. This fighting spirit has gained the respect of our opponents as well as all the other teams. And I agree that it is this that's most important. So let's keep our heads high, and be proud of being a part of VJ floorball's history.
And, it has also been an honour to be your captain. To be a captain of a team that is so passionate about floorball, so willing to give your all for floorball. I mean, not many captains get the chance to lead such a wonderful team. I feel that it was a blessing. Throughout this one and a half years, I've learnt and grown alot. As a leader, and as a player. It wasnt an easy journey. But it was because of all the support I've received from u all (eg the card u j2s made for me, the words of encouragement), that I've become who i am now. It was u girls that spurred me on to do an even better job. It was u girls that made me change, to being a better leader, a better person. I couldnt ask for more.
One regret that i have is that i think i placed too much emphasis on myself. I just wanted to train harder, to let my skills do the talking. I didnt like making speeches coz i'm not good at it and kept thinking of ways to make better ones. But i came to the realisation that what really matters is not solely about urself as a leader, it's actually about the people u lead. Being able to bond the team together, being a true friend, being a big sister who takes care of them. Being their source of motivation.
I feel that there are a particular few individuals in our team that have these attributes and personally, I look up to them as role models. They are Kelly and Chia Wen. Kelly has a very likeable character and her passion and drive are what made her so special. She has given me alot of support as the vice-captain and i really thank her for everything she did. Chia Wen bounced back after her injuries and always placed her team before her, which i feel is very commendable. I guess there were times when she felt pain in her knee during trg or games but she dint say it out coz she dint want it to affect us. She's indeed the best team player any team can ever have.
Moreover, I feel that their strong belief in God is what made them stand out too. Especially when I'm the only non-christian in my line, whenever they pray before matches, I feel like being a part of them but I cant. It's ok. We're the allstars line and like what mr loke said, our line is capable of outdoing all other lines in the competition. I strongly believe in that and this wont be the end of allstars. Go Kaka, go Torres, go Rooney, go Ronaldo. (:
Guys, u all have always been a source of inspiration to us girls. All the friendlies and matches we've watched u all played, the goals u all scored, the shots from opponents that u all blocked. It's really amazing. And we feel that u guys have the capability of winning this competition. Believe in yourselves. Just stay focused, stay disciplined. I dont agree with what dennis said though, that u all will win this title for us girls. We, both guys and girls, will win this together. We'll be cheering u all on in the next few matches, so better make sure u all do a good job yeah.
J2 girls, even though this is our last year and we wont get to play and fight for VJ anymore, let us remember this whole journey we've been through. We're the first batch of VJ floorball girls and it is something that is worth being proud of. We've already done our best, from having absolutely nothing, to what we are now. I know all of us cant bear to leave like this. But, it's now time to pass on the baton to our juniors. And I believe that VJ will come back even stronger next year. Go juniors! Let's show the world our Victorian Spirit.
Girls, and to every VJ floorballer, our passion does not end here. Floorball has been so integrated into our lives. We live for floorball, breathe for floorball. It's like we're so attached to floorball we cant get attached to anything else, or anyone else. Even Yan and Mr Loke arent attached. haha. Let this passion continue to burn within us. Let's play this game till we're all old and frail and too weak to even swing the stick, or block any goals.
VJC, THIS IS THE GAME. (:
Stella,
VJCFB girls 1st batch
captain.

hey girls, i know nothing we say can really make you feel better because all of you really deserve to be playing on in the final four.
I just have to say that seeing you girls fight your hearts out really inspired us guys today and showed us what love for the game and love for the team really means.
the passion you showed today is really what makes the girls team great. and i hope us guys can fight on with as much heart as you did.
you should be proud of yourselves because we know we are proud of you =)
we will fight on and win for you

i still think it was partly my face huh? i should've smiled today...
im sorry girls.
here's many many smiles for you all (: (: (: (: (: (: (: (: (: (: (:
everybody pls rmb, no matter what happens,
smile it like smiley k.
we musnt give some 'i-want-to-die' face.
its not over till we say its over.anyway,
its not the end. if we are gonna let today's setback take us down, i suggest we can all put our jerseys away in our cupboards now.
greater expectations leads to greater disappointments.
but if you dont expect anything at all, den you might as well give up right from the start.
are YOU gonna stay here and feel sorry for ourselves?
i know i wont,
cause i'll fight back.
will you?
