The strength of the team is each individual member, the strength of each member is the team. ~Phil Jackson

Hello beautiful people

I was just floorball-blog-hopping awhile ago (BECAUSE MY CTs HAVE ENDED, SO THERE), and I just wanted to tell you guys that OUR BLOGSKIN IS REALLY COOL! Haha like seriously. Other JCs' floorball blogskins have the drawing of a floorball court and that's it. Hmm, ours so cute lah :)

ANYWAY, my main agenda for this post is to say a little something to all of you (both guys and girls) who are going for training camp this march hols.

Firstly, I urge all of you to take this camp seriously. Not just as a team, but also individually. Use this opportunity to learn as much as you can, improve as much as you can. Do go into this camp with clear objectives in your mind. Do set goals for yourself, in terms of skills or communication with your team mates. Do gain as much as you possibly can from this camp, absorb everything that is taught to you, BE A SPONGE! Let this be 3 days well spent.

Next, use this chance to BOND! Not just within teams but also across teams! Take the initiative to get to know your team mates better ya'll. "VJ floorball is a family!"

Thirdly, while enjoying this camp, please remember that SAFETY IS TOP PRIORITY. Please be aware of your surroundings, and PLEASE THINK BEFORE ACTING. Not only would any incidents be very unfortunate and sad, they would also be extremely inconvenient to the personnel in charge. So yeah. "Use your coconut!" Also also also, we don't want people to get injured! SEASON IS APPROACHING. Injury now = damn jialat. Take care of yourselves! Be responsible, young, THINKING adults!

Finally, HAVE FUN =D Treasure the time you have with your team (ESPECIALLY J2s!), and treasure the time we get to do what we love-playing floorball!

Oh yeah I wanna thank everyone who was involved in the planning of this camp. Exco, Mr Loke, Mr Chow, Yan, and the school for the venues. A lot of effort has gone into the preparation of this camp, so EVERYONE let's make it a worthwhile experience for ourselves! :)

I am a member of a team, and I rely on the team, I defer to it and sacrifice for it, because the team, not the individual, is the ultimate champion. ~Mia Hamm

Lotsa Love
