Hi guys, it's me again.Take a moment to think about what your team goals were at the start of pre-season. Think about your personal goals. Think about how much you've learnt since you picked up floorball. Or maybe you've been playing floorball all your life, so think about how much you've grown since being part of Team VJ. Every player, every athlete, has their own story to tell. Everyone journeys alone, struggles alone, and fights their own battles. Oh but we can travel side by side. The beauty of a team lies in that dreams can be made into reality. Your performance shall far surpass your own expectations. Faith and courage will multiply by tenfolds. In the strength of your team, you shall find your own.At this most stressful period, with a week to go, there is no space for second-guessing. It's time to let go of your fears and place your complete trust in the team. It is time to come together. Who do you play for?Think about winning the championship. The faces of your team mates. Imagine the feeling. Memorize it. When you are at your lowest low, remind yourself that you deserve the sweetness of victory. Remind yourself that if you could dream it, you can achieve it.Love and Confidence,Therese.PS. I know I'm melodrama and over-serious but hey! Here are some cute pictures to make up for it :) The weird rubbery one is a baby stingray by the way.

I sincerely thank those who carried the team's burden on their legs and shoulders for the entire match/day. I also appreciate all who stood by the team at a critical moment.
I could see the fire and desire to perform, as sportsmen, as Victorians, as young men with character, from the players who played their part. Everybody was working hard, even the newer ones stepped up to the occasion when called upon, senior players were guiding the newer ones throughout. These are strong signs that we are still a team.
Although many of us are disappointed or disturbed, I still believe the team will withstand this setback. I really hope you will share the same belief as me too.
Let's all stand up to the test and challenge.
thanks again

Hi beautiful floorballers :) This is just a gentle PSA* that the approach of A Div means all of you should sleep by 11 every night, drink lots of water (I really mean ALOT), and keep a healthy diet. Being an athlete requires discipline. Your little actions and habits ultimately build up to your final performance. Everything has its part to play in a greater scheme of things. Most of all mentally prepare yourself, set aside time each night before you sleep to think about your journey, your preparation, and your expectations. Constantly remind yourself to enjoy every minute. Treasure moments you have with your team. Have lots of fun! If nothing, I promise you this is going to be a hell of a ride. Love and good intentions,Therese.P.S. Okay as much as I'd love to say I posted this ENTIRELY cause I want to wish my dear juniors well, note my renewed efforts to refrain from commenting on the tagboard. They are such confined spaces anyway, I can't fully express myself. Watch this space, I think I'll have alot more to say as season approaches. *Public Service Announcement
